Introduction of program
The Muamalat Administration Programme in USIM has been established by harmonizing the Fiqh Muamalat contents with contemporary and professional knowledge with integration of Naqli and ‘Aqli. This programme focuses on the area of business management and administration especially from Islamic perspectives. It is a 4 year programme consists of 8 semesters.
The aim of the programme as follows:
- to provide guidance to Muslims about their relationships with fellow human beings
- to arrange and organize the structure and administration of human management
- Modern and progressive Islamic societies today, must not only have high knowledge in terms of monotheism (tauhid) and syariah but also need the knowledge of muamalat, for the sake of his well-being in this world and in the Hereafter
- The rulings on relationships with fellow human beings are guided based on 2 important elements: Ijtimaie’(social) and Tijari (commercial)
- To practice the scope of Islamic economy in the curriculum that covers all aspects of management, finance and banking

Introduction of program
The Bachelor of Accounting program aims to produce accounting graduates who are professionally competent and observe ethical norms. As such, the accounting curriculum has been designed to provide the conceptual framework of accounting by integrating components of Islamic and accounting knowledge. In addition, the programme offers elective courses in specific areas of accounting to meet the need for accounting with an Islamic perspective and Big Data such as Shariah Audit, Islamic Accounting Financial Transaction and Data Analytic. The programme has been granted maximum exemption of examination papers by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Graduates of USIM, within 3-5 years after graduation, will be expected to become:
• Accounting practitioners who apply fundamental knowledge and practical skills in contributing to the betterment of the private and public organisations globally.
• Accounting practitioners who lead and effectively communicate with team members in solving workplace and professional issues.
• Accounting practitioners who demonstrate strong Islamic values encompassing professional and ethical responsibilities to the profession, society and the environment.
• Accounting practitioners who continuously enhance their professional skills through lifelong learning and professional development.
The graduates with three years of experience in accounting are recognized by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) for entry as Chartered Accountants (CA).

This program is developed to produce graduates who are knowledgeable, skilful, innovative and ethical in marketing and in marketing of financial services. Based on the integration of Naqli and Aqli in the courses offered, graduates of this programme will be able to apply knowledge gained towards resolving current issues especially in the field of marketing and marketing of financial services.

The introduction of Bachelor of Islamic Banking and Finance with Honours in USIM is align with the country’s Economic Transformation Plan in the field of education, namely Malaysia as a major player in Islamic finance cluster to obtain market share in Islamic banking and finance. This programme is also introduced in accordance to the vision of USIM that is to be an advanced knowledge-based institution of Islamic learning that combines science and naqli aqli to resolve issues and Islamic communities, particularly in the field of Islamic banking and finance.

The Bachelor of Corporate Administration and Relations with Honours programme is offered in line with the development of USIM and the Faculty. The Faculty aims to produce more certified Company Secretary and Corporate Governance officers in Malaysia. Currently, the number of certified Company Secretary is in scarce. Under the Companies Act 2016, each company established in Malaysia is required to have at least one certified Company Secretary appointed and licensed by the Companies Commission of Malaysia. However, the statistics show that certified Company Secretary in Malaysia is less than 10,000 while the number of companies registered in Malaysia is more than 1.2 million. This programme will fulfil the demand from the private sector.
