According to Encik Asri Hj Husain, Deputy Director (StraComm), USIM recognizes that today’s university not only acts as a knowledge Institution, but also as a platform for community development at various levels of society. Attempting to reach the community through education is also expected to be able to inject awareness on the importance of education in changing the status-quo of the community.

This aspect is important in driving the country into a progressive country economically while at the same time building a community of nobility and positive qualities. ”
