Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

Alhamdulillah, In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah SWT, the Almighty. We all praise Him, seek His Help, and ask for His forgiveness. He whom Allah SWT guides, no one can misguide him, and whoever Allah SWT misguides, no one can guide him. Blessings and prayers be upon His Messenger Prophet Muhammad SAW, his family members and his companions.

Faculty of Economics and Muamalat (FEM), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) which has been established since 2001 to produce knowledgeable, competent, creative and trustworthy Muslim professionals in the field of Islamic Muamalat, has explored and pioneered various efforts and programs to achieve the objectives of the Faculty. For the time being, we offers five degree programs, five postgraduate programs and also master’s and PhD programs by research in the fields of Islamic Muamalat, Islamic Accounting, Islamic Marketing, Islamic Corporate Administration as well as Islamic Banking and Finance.

As a Faculty that is also responsible in supporting efforts in the integration of the naqli and aqli knowledge, which is not the agenda and needs of other parties in the country and unique only to USIM, of course, a clear understanding and application in the aspect of integration of naqli and aqli knowledge is crucial to ensure the success of USIM’s vision and mission in the field of Islamic Muamalat which is very vulnerable to adoption of conventional and capitalist thought.

In the meantime, the Faculty understands that close and good cooperation with external parties is of paramount importance to achieve all the aspirations. The Faculty provides the widest opportunities of cooperation to all external parties in the relevant industry to jointly achieve the objectives of FEM. The Faculty hopes that all parties will succeed in pursuit of this noble effort in expanding and elevating knowledge based on the integration of naqli and aqli knowledge in order to reach its peak and be able to benefit students, stakeholders, Muslim and non-Muslim communities in the country.

We welcome all of you to join our Faculty for various programs and collaboration. You may obtain a lot more information regarding our Faculty in our website. We look forward to entertain all of you soon.
