  • SYNOPSIS: Muslims represent nearly 1.6 billion of the world’s population and by 2030; the global Muslim population is expected to increase at a rate of 35 per cent, rising to 2.2 billion, or 26.4 per cent of the world’s total projected population of 8.3 billion.  Despite the increasing growth of the worldwide Muslim population, few companies taking advantage of the significant opportunities presented by this single biggest untapped market in the world.  This market provides a source of huge potential for brands from the West and brands from Muslim countries and is on a steep growth path.  This course provides the concept of Islamic Marketing and it assesses the opportunities and challenges in Islamic Marketing.
