Master of Islamic Finance

  • Our cutting edge program will train graduates to develop critical understanding of vital components of Islamic finance theory and associated current research, and develop the capability of applying both general and Islamic financial concepts and principles to the analysis of corporate circumstances
  • Master of Islamic Finance is for students wishing to have their course tailored from an Islamic financial and accounting perspective. All MIF students commence with a generic common core but in the coming semester students will then specialise by studying relevant financial, accounting and investment issues from a managerial perspective. 

Admission Requirement

Bachelor Degree with Honours and good grades with
CGPA = 2.75/4.00 and above from Universiti Sains Islam
Malaysia; OR

Suitable Bachelor degree with Honours and good grades;
or Jayyid; or CGPA = 2.75/4.00 and above; or CGPA =
3.50/5.00 and above; or 60% and above (transcript
should be examined) from other institutions of higher
learning recognized by the Senate; OR

Suitable Bachelor degree with Honours and good grades;
or Makbul; or CGPA = 2.50/4.00 and above; or CGPA
= 3.00/5.00 and above; or 50% and above AND with a
minimum of five (5) years working experience.

English Language Requirement

Foreign applicants whose native language is not English
are required to demonstrate their proficiency in English with a
IELTS>5.5 or TOEFL>550 excluding those who graduated
from an English University. Evidence of proficiency should
be attached to the application form.
